the thing is strikes or lockouts happen all the time but when its something like a postal strike it is more noticeable than lets say a steel workers union going on strike but the whole thing about unions is you have the right to say in not being payed (or i dont have benefits) and go on strike. The government normally handles high public demand job strikes well, for example the Toronto transportation strike, they settled what had to be settled, and the drivers were back to work. However it is not right for a government to demand people to go to work, hell just listen to our national anthem "true north strong and
FREE" but in this case they were not free and imo it was wrong
