In Love with Skiing?....

I honestly must sound retarded but skiing makes me so happy it's unbelieveable...... Haha does this ever happen to anyone else? like just the thought of shredding makes me so happy. Seems like skiing is the only thing in life that will never stab you in the back.....

people say all i talk about is skiing, and well, i would have to agree 100%. skiings soooo addicting, in the spring, i hate my life too cause i cant ski, and u dont even need to be that good to feel this. everything i do revolves around skiing all year

Amen, like im not a beast. hahaha kids get pissed cuz i talk about skiing too much... Like fuck you kid. haha sorry shits so addicting. Especially Cuz i like live 10 Minutes from where Tom Wallisch grew up and i love him (NO HOMO). Like this is wayyyy better then any organized sport.

omg, i thought i was the only one who did this! i walk around school looking at the railings down the stairs and imagining hitting them on skis. like if i see somthing on the street i like jib it while just walking around in the summer.
have u ever thought about how sick it would be to grind a railroad track!!?? you could go forever!

Good thing I'm not the only one. In the summer when I see a rail or even a CURB I pretend that I'm on skis and hit it.

I've tried to aggressive skate in the summer and I just don't like it. It's not the same as skiing.

Another reason why I don't like it as much., I'd rather be too cold then too hot any day.
Skiing is the perfect sport.

Yep, definitely in love with skiing-doing it, thinking about it, talking about it...I pretty much have withdrawls if I go more than a week without skiing.
Skiing won't break your heart, just your bones and ligaments. Definitely worth it.

I live in Vancouver, BC, but am currently in California where it is ridiculously hot, something I never get to experience. And I would much rather be skiing. Hell I think I spent more time looking at ski videos yesterday than in the pool.

I'm so glad there are others that think this way too! I'm absolutely in love with skiing. ♥ I am constantly thinking about skiing. Everyone says all I ever talk about are horses and skiing, and you know what? I completely agree, and I have no shame in that either. It's just such an amazing feeling that you can't really get doing anything else. I just taught my friend to ski a few weeks ago, and she said she now understands my love for snow and the winter! I'm going absolutely crazy right now because I can't go skiing. Even in the middle of summer I'm thinking about skiing, and dreaming about hitting the slopes. I love it so much. :) It's really great to be on here with others who feel the same way. I LOVE SKIING!! ♥

Im always thinking about it, at college the teacher would be teaching and ill just be daydreaming about skiing, and not know what im supposed to be doing. My friends on facebook get annoyed by the amount of edits im constantly posting on the news feed :P, and i always watch an edit before i go to bed :D.

Its worse for me, i think, because i dont have a mountain... :'(

every year.. the two weeks, right after  my pass expires..   so the first two weeks of june...  i am fucking depressed.     the mental change of not being able to ski...    fuck....      when its raining at my house and all i can think about is the fresh snow at the Mtn.     

i do fucking love skiing.

haha yes i am too. I have skis incorporated into my tattoo. Its all i talk about to my friends and I've had friends tell me that im so much happier and personable while im skiing. I'm actually going to school so i can hopefully get a job in the ski industry.

When i dream its either about girls ;) or putting down an ill contest run and skiing down super physiced up

Something to work towards. A way to meet new people and shred with friends. The feeling when you get a trick after hiking a rail all day. This is why I love skiing.

Even with the injuries and setbacks, I still love it.

oh yea i'm obsessed.... Let me tell you something.
I've done drugs and I've had sex and to be honest, the feeling of landing a blunt 3 or a steezy rail 270 off is an unmatched feeling. I am literally in love with skiing.

^ to further my point.... I was in love in highschool and when I think about it, going skiing is the same feeling I would get as to when I would see my girl.... now that my girl is gone skiing has taken over that feeling...

Sometimes I walk around the halls in school and imagine jibbing on everything. I imagine doing like a 270 onto a bench, 450 out, wallriding a door, and buttering a 7 down the stairs lmao. And when I'm in the car on the way to the mountain I always look at the barrier at the side of the road and imagine grinding it with a tow rope attached to a car. In boring classes I doodle all over my papers and draw guys jibbing the text and stuff. Yup.. I'm obsessed :D

for me when i ski i forget about life's problems, bills,girl, work,etc.... its like super Prozac or something. Time fly's by waaaay to quickly and i cant get enough of this white stuff! lol

I honestly can say i dont look forward to spring time! :(
