Replying to Can you get in trouble for running over a bush?

ok so i took a turn to fast and my car plowed down this bush in a shopping center where they might have camera's. Could/would someone call the cop's on that? No one was hurt and their was no damage to my car, but the bush is a little crooked. I basically don't want them to call the police and make me pay for the damage to the bush cause i don't want my parents to know i got in an accident because of irresponsible driving. Yeah i was going to fast and it was stupid but would someone try and get my plate number and call the cops?
