Can you get in trouble for running over a bush?

ok so i took a turn to fast and my car plowed down this bush in a shopping center where they might have camera's. Could/would someone call the cop's on that? No one was hurt and their was no damage to my car, but the bush is a little crooked. I basically don't want them to call the police and make me pay for the damage to the bush cause i don't want my parents to know i got in an accident because of irresponsible driving. Yeah i was going to fast and it was stupid but would someone try and get my plate number and call the cops?
Spark notes: hit a bush in a shopping center, possibility of being caught on cameras, could/would someone call the cops?

ya you are responsible for the cost to replace that bush if it is killed. you would also get a ticket for reckless driving.
but it would take a VERY motivated person to track you down for such a little infraction.

could be hit-and-run driving.
i am pretty sure here (austria), its hit-and-run when you for example scratch another car when parking or so and dont stay at the scene until the cars owner arrives or you call the police. leaving your address is not enough. so basically, if they find out and the legal situation is similar, you could get fucked hard and a lot.
but then again: ITS A FUCKING BUSH

park in the next parking lot over or somewhere where there are no cameras at night. run over to the bush with your ski mask on, rip it out, throw it on the asphalt, and run away and leave. no ones the wiser then.

well, since you said the bush is still alive, what you need to do is return and kill it before it can tell anyone who ran it over. after you kill it you should also kill any other bushes/people in the immediate vicinity that may have seen what you just did so that there are no witnesses.

Have you seen the video where the skateboarder moves the bush and the owner calls the police? Possibly, it would be considered damaging property wouldn't it?

Going to show last winter in crazy snow out in rochester. We got there first, out door lot with a parking gate. When the other car of my friends showed up, he got stuck going in, spun out then floored it. Parking gate came down on his roof rack and ripped in half. Considering there are cameras everywhere anywhere, especially in a parking area he called the cops so that he wouldn't have some shit go down later like cops at his door back home. the cops said don't worry about it, leave it. Bigger shit to deal with.
I think a bush would def fall under that category. It's a bush. Unless the dude that owns that store was the same guy from that skateboard video.
