Marker Griffon Schizo 12

I realize this is probably a repost but i have a couple of questions about it before making a final decision.
A) Will the 90mm fit on my 171 ar7s?
B) Is it annoying moving the binding up/down?
C) Should I just mount them at -2.5(factory ) if I'm skiing 60% park, 40% all mountain/groomers, 5'11", 165 lbs?
D) Any cons for these bindings or any suggestions for a binding that would better fit me?

I'm wondering the same thing, but it seems like the people who haven't broken them love them and the people who have brokem them hate them.

Yeah, that's how much it is for most bindings. I don't think I'd break these seeing as I'm not super intense in the park so durability isn't going to be an issue because of that/bc lifetime warranty.

seeing as you are on the east cost there is no real need to have a binding that could move so its not like you are going to be going from park to powder. i mounted mine at center and have no complaints.

I heard turning is hard at center, it'd be nice to have the option to switch it around, and i go up to vt once or twice a year so the powder factor is still up there.

yes turning at center isnt as easy as it would be at recomended, but 2.5 isnt much of a difference and for park skiing it helps and i actually prefer a centered ski for free riding, just need to power your turns a little more.

I'm also pretty interested in it because from reviews it seems pretty durable and I'm looking for an all mountain/park binding, but I'm open to any other suggestions if you have any.

i have px12 jibs and couldnt be happier with them.

probably a mounting problem but still a problem with them.

a) almost certainly, although ask online at backcountry.com on their 24 hour chat. theyll know

b) no its really easy. some people dont even move it that often. i used it to find a comfortable place and i ski them at -2.5cm 90% of the time (on my k2 extremes). when you have to adjust them back for powder its super easy....20 secs a ski

c) i think there's a lot of value in the schizos....its a good design and it means you can move them back if you get a sick powder day. get the best of both worlds for a little bit extra.

d) the binding is super strong..its pretty much a griffon on rails. some people have had the mechanism fail but its very rare and can be warrantied. i haven't had a single problem and ive moved them forward and back heaps of times. its as simple as turning a screw. if you don't like them then i recommend regular griffons. i have those on my armada ar6s and love them. tough as shit.

Just read thread, now i'm pretty skeptical of getting schizos on my armadas. @alex thanks, quality response. What fks do you guys suggest, links would be great.

the schizos are very easy to move back and forth, they give you a little key that lets you stick it in the front and you just rotate it. That being said, do not ride too much park with these, i have them and for me, my right foots binding by the end of the day goes from true center to a -2. If you hit rails a lot or land backseat a couple of times, they can slide a little after a whole day but you wont notice it that much.
