Hi guys,
I have an odd case of shin pain. I sorted my boots out, so they actually fit (as Ive had this before), and still no luck. I skied for 10 days straight with no problems. Because Ive had this before, I spent my whole holiday skiing pistes and any tricks I did, I landed them switch and I had zero shin pain the whole time. I wanted to test my shins before I went home, so on my second to last day I did two 360s. I landed sweet, not backseat, but as I landed, I felt the muscles up the front of my legs stretch hard. it wasnt the impact, it almost felt like them fighting to balance me and overstretching. This is exactly what happened to me last time, I left the park, and the next day my shins were so painful to the touch that I couldnt put my boots on and couldnt ski at all, end of holiday again. This isnt at all from gaps in my boots or them being too big, I made sure they were tightened correctly, I had shin shields on incase it was the impact that caused the pain last time but I still resulted in being fucked over.
I know there are a million threads on shinbang, but I was wondering if anyone had anything like this? I went to see a physio and she didnt have a fucking clue, so now they are gonna be scanned to see if its actually shin splints.
+K for any help as this is holding my skiing at a complete standstill.
