Binding help

so both of my breaks exploded and there is a large crack in the grey thing on my griffons. with that being said i need to replace them , lucky for me i got them from backcountry
so what im wondering is if i should unscrew the old ones and put the new ones on myself or should i get my shop to do it. this may sound stupid i just really dont want any stripped holes
thoughts?

IF you get another pair of griffons you can do it if your good at that type of thing. If you get a different binding the holes probably wont line up so your need to get it re drilled. That being said, i would recommend you get a different binding because of all the plastic that is in the griffon.

the only reason im staying with griffons is because i would have to move the holes away from center
and i have never done this before so let the shop do it?

Im not very wise when it comes to tech questions but a lot of people will tell you not to try and do your own bindings, but the hole drilling is the hard part that has the potential to ruin your skis.
What I would do is stick a little wood glue on the new screws and just put them in. The pattern will be the same so just make sure they are in there tight. Worst comes to worst you can take it to a tech but i dont see how you could fuck it up unless you strip the shit out of the screws, but even then you have the other pair of bindings you can take screws from.
