heading up for the weekend. Going with a bunch of friends but I'm pretty sure they are all beginners. Anyone want to give me a shout and show me some spots, do some park laps just let me know!

Damn I wish I could! I will be up there next weekend for sure, but going to Big Bear this weekend.
Depending on the snow, there are a couple options. If you wanna ride park that is pretty easy. I prefer South Park, but then again I don't really spin off anything bigger than about 60 ft and the main park is all business.
Since it's been a few days since the last snow, I would look to either traverse to the end of the dragon tail ( far skier right from the top of chair 9...basically as far skier right as you can go in bounds)...or hike up hemlock ridge (on the backside). Those are your best bets for good snow.
Hit me up if you go up next weekend!

Been very windy the past two days so main park has been fairly sketchy. Best bet is playing over in south park for sure. I dunno if it will improve for sat sun, but thats how the past two days have been. Most of the upper lifts were closed yesterday as well due to winds.
I'm primarily a park rat, so I dont know many spots....plus I just moved out here a month ago and before that was off skis for a month because of a small meniscus tear. Definitely not jumping but can still play on rails. I'll be cruisin around each day.....black & purple saga. Hit me up with a pm or somethin if you wanna shred.

sweet deal man! Im here right now but Im heading out tomorrow around noon :(
As the previous poster said, it sure has been windy the past few days but its still blue skies and most of the slopes are groomed and you can pick up some good speed.
Hopefully the air bag will be open tomorrow cuz I really want to try a backflip

Main park is pretty huge right now since they just had the grand prix. South park is fun. Wind has been doing nice stuff to the snow on the leeward side of the top ridges. Dave's run is good. I'd stay away from the tail, I went there the other day and it was super heavy and it's probably solid now.

Yesterday was awesome. Front flipped the first wind lip on white bark ridge. More snow is supposed to be coming in the next few days.
