The blizzard of aahs will tell u who the true pioneers are. And for people who are saying tanner and those guys, take it back to the old days when those guys are just blowing up and listen to guys like chris collins and kent kreitler talk about skiing. Some of tgrs older movies like mind the addiction will demonstrate this. Just because some one is well known and higly recognized it doesnt mean they are single handedly changing skiing.

you know, sarah's got her thing goin and stuff, and its tight, and i'm super grateful she has led a charge of chicas coming to the sport, but i don't think she deserves to be anywhere near the top of that list with the names that were being thrown out there. the impact that some of the legends of the sport have made are on a different level that totally eclipses her and anyone else for that matter.

Yeah without douglas beginning the 1080 people would still be riding line's skiblade/twintip shit that mike nick won all those x games with. Also dorian for really progressing switch in a way that riders like fugas are continuing today. Actually i have a lot of respect for most of the early saloman riders. Most of which are in Propaganda riding them.

It really depends on what aspect of skiing you're talking about. Candizzle has been pushing the limit of freestyle(I hate calling it that, but i can't think of a better substitute) Seth Morrison kills the BC, making others push it.

the best idea ever was the one that was diabolicly hatched today at lunch in the hall way of my school. It involved a boat and beer and selling that beer to 14 yearolds for like $3 a bottel, so that way from every 24 we got, we would get 12 and then never have to pay for our own beer again. and if the poilice tried to stop us, we were drive away in a boat (which doesnt have a licence plate) but, if there were on a baot, we were throw peanuts at them, cause its highly probable that one of them in alergic to then and he would go into anaphletic shock and we were get away. if that didnt work we were catapult cows at them and wait for the headlines 'police boat sunk by flying cows'. --Apple.

different people help in different ways... there were the old guys like plake who started stuff, then the new old guys like JP, vinnie, mike douglas, and those guys who brough twin tips exposure, then there was seth, who redefined big mountain, and some other guys like tanner who became the first big names. so I suppose those guys are the most important. when I first saw the title I though tanner and seth, so thats who I say.
