Back when I lived in the Ghey Area, I would always drink a cup of Peet's drip, and to date, it's still consistently the best coffee I've had.

For my days in Europe, it's usually Starbuck's, or when I'm in a coffee place like Rome, I have a nice cup of cappuccino in the morning, standing up, at the corner store.

matts coffe out of yarmouth maine, it's all wood fire roasted! so good. My personal favorite is his ethiopian yirgacheffe and he's got some great espresso.

he made like a german chocolate cake mosie and its was amazing.

Green mountain coffee. not to bad either that they went up $17 a share yesterday after signing a deal with starbucks, they are the king of coffee

nothing beats tim hortons. but since i have to drive roughly 3 hours to the nearest one il stick with dd

mocha hot made regular extra mocha.

as espresso pulls, I enjoy the Guatemala Santa Clara from Heart in Portland, and the Intelligentsia Black Cat.

If you're ever in Denver, go to Happy Coffee. It's across the street from Jiberish, and they really really nerd out on coffee without being the stereotypical pretentious hipster coffee shop.


oh and fuck starbucks. i worked there for a year when I couldn't find any other job, and their coffee is not in any way great. middle of the road at best. Starbucks is for people who want caffeine but don't actually like coffee, so they have it sweetened beyond recognition and then have a 10:1 ratio of steamed milk to espresso added to get rid of whatever coffee flavor was left.

haha i feel this way too...except there is the odd time n the summer when i will get an iced caramel macchiato because i really like the frozen caramel. :)

Carmel creme, cinnamon hazelnut are good. Nice cup of dark roast no cream or sugar. gevalia coffee freshly ground yum. i love coffee.

Sorry! the coffee shop I mentioned above, Happy Coffee, is one of two places outside of Portland that actually gets Heart's roasts. It's really awesome coffee, I'd recommend it. but thanks for the recommendations, I'll be sure to check them out when I'm there.

I work at caribou. So either a latte w heavy cream or americano or black dark roast. Coffee is the shit. Barista is a solid job to.

why people think starbucks is top of the line is beyond me.

another misconception is that the darker the roast the more caffeine. its actually the opposite.

Sumatra is my favorite bold coffee and Kenya is my favorite smooth coffee..
My friend works at Starbucks so I get the pound bag for $5.
Cheap coffee needs yummy creamer to taste good. -Coldstone Sweet Cream is the best.

My favorite coffee is french press with locally roasted beans. Best if they are roasted within 10 days, it's humid here. I also really enjoy good aeropress or espresso.

Seriously though, for less than $100 you can set yourself up to brew the best cup of coffee in the world. Buy a good hand grinder and a bodum and you are set.

I'm generally a fan of French roasts and breakfast blends. Mt Hood Coffee Roasting Co. Has a lot of good beans. I make a point of getting a pound or two everytime I am in the area.
