If you have seen the 2012 skis which kind would you think would be to get for an advanced skier? This is NOT for me this is for my friend. You can find some of the 2012 gear on this website..... give me you thoughts please no hate im just trying to find some answers.
You realise that it is almost impossible for you to ask a vaguer question. What style skiing does your friend do? How tall is he? How heavy is he? How experienced is he? How soft does he like a ski to be? Does he want a one ski quiver? Does he want a ski that's good or just has a cool topsheet?
If you answer these questions you will get a lot more helpful advice.
Well I think if he's still growing (I take it by the size he's 13-16) then Armada T-Halls in 166cm or K2 Domains in 169 (rocker makes them feel shorter) would be good for him. The T-Halls I think are good because they're a little softer than the AR7 and being Armada are VERY durable. K2 Domains are also quite soft and having rocker should make them hook up less on take offs and landings.
This is assuming he rides park mostly? If possible he should demo some skis though.
