What's a solid 60ft jump ski?

I'm looking for a new pair a skis that is 80% jump 20% jib. im 6'2 and 160lbs. i want a solid ski for mainly jumps that is durable  and still has a bit of flex so that i have some fun. I looked around and the salamon suspects looked good until i bought some and  snapped them after 4 times ski days. WHat's a good ski?

For straight up big jumps your going to want something on the stiffer side. Line Chronic Cryptonites, Line Step Ups, K2 Revivals, Armada Ar7's and Volkl Walls would be a few good ones to look at depending if you want symmetrical or not.

For once i agree with kangbang, reno jibs are a fantastic jump ski. Another one is fisher addicts. Revivals are pretty good too, but they have soe rocker which makes you wash out a bit if you land bad.

Since My suspcets broke I'm riding my old disorderly's- the '10 new ones. Are they like the revival because i love my disorderly's nice an poppy but still good on jumps

The revivals are stiffer, have a small amount of rocker, and arent all that poppy. They are a solid jump ski though, and are almost bombproof.

s4, really solid on big jumps. slay on the rails and lots of pop. very durable as well haven't heard a bad thing about them

Either volkl Walls or BOONE Spaceghosts.....I think the walls are a really good comp and jump ski because there really stiff......BOONES are nice because they have a bamboo core which is stiff, snappy and are also soft which will be playfull :)

i vote for chronics. zero chatter at high speeds, and stiff as hell= no buttering out when you land. theyre nice and fast too so you dont knuckle horribly.

armadas are amazing...soooo durable never heard a complaint(bombproof), the pipecleaners sure are stiff too..there a great choice!

bluehouse antics, solid all round ski and pretty stiff but still soft in the tips and tails if you are heavier. and great price. love mine

You should be looking at any ski that is on the stiffer side. Stiff Skis that have received nothing but good reviews would be the Rossi s4, armada ar7, volkl wall or the moment Reno jib. You just need to decide weather you want a directional or symmetrical ski

How will t-hall hold up on big jumps.. Pipe cleaner is def. not an ideal ski, i find it too soft for big jumps(yes it's soft). Im tired of washing out of jumps whit alpahs.. it,s more forgivng when you over/under rotate a bit, but its super easy to revert whit them(witch is a bad thing).

Salomon pro pipe looks great. Volkl wall are nice. I have some 4frnt stl, pretty good but soft. Maybe tnk will hold up better on big jump.

suspects? durability sucks but they are pretty stable and i really like them for jumps. my ninthward hhps do pretty well on stuff 50-60 but you are a bit bigger then me and they only go up to 176 so that might be a little bit of a issue.

shit i didnt read all the way through the thread haha my bad bought the suspects. but i thing that 176 isnt to short for you that you might like the hhps cause they are have a little softer flex

haven't had that issue with mine, i land switch all the time. and you can't take one episode and say the whole line of ski is bad. That's actually the first bad thing i've heard about revivals in terms of durability this year.

i have revivals if you couldn't tell, they handle the larger jumps quite nicely, really playful with the rocker, but are a medium stiffness, so they handle the big jumps fine, but you can still take them to the jibs.

i rock the 179, at 6'1" and 170lbs.

dont get stepups. mine exploded. the bases tore away from ski when the tip hit. a rail support. im tryna get em warrentied

i am more of a fatter waist kind of guy. So i love my blends on any bigger jump. It should be noted my style of skiing is 7's being the most I spin and just do slow carvey flips and trickery.

I know they're designed for pipe-- but my pipe cleaners work great on 50-70ft jumps. Plenty of pop and the race base works great.

I said almost bombproof, every ski has its flaws, but k2's are generally pretty solid, my base and edge are delamming in the tail though. They are just a decent ski. Lets just say i would have rather bought s4's. Luckily i'll be off these fuckers in a few weeks.

If you don't know what ski you need for a 60ft jump you probably shouldn't be doing 60ft jumps.

I know I need a more stiff ski but I am asking what brand. I do 60ft I k2 disorderlys and they are a little soft. Therefore I am asking what a solid stiffer ski is.

t hall is even softer then the pipecleaner. check out the armada el ray and the armada AR7 there pretty stiff!
