haha dude at least the koala one was somebody doing something active. goofy or not at least it was something that could feasibly involve a POV camera.
I can't complain too much because GoPro and NS were truly generous and great for putting this on, and at the end of the day it is their decision - but i guess I just didn't understand the judging criteria. I thought it was to take a picture showing how you would use a GoPro camera...and almost every round, more and more entries win that don't involve any action what-so-ever. A soup can? poorly shopped? i mean c'mon. At least koala man took the time and effort to dress up and take an action shot.
Congrats to the winners regardless, I'd be f-ing stoked if I didn't even have to get out of my chair at all to win. And again, it was up to GoPro, and they gave away a ton of cameras for free which is seriously awesome of them - so at the end of the day whatever criteria they used to decide the winners...will stand.
