Average Tips at work

I make on average about $15 in tips in about 4 hours. I work at a coffee shop serving coffee. What do any other people make on average for tips, even if you work in a resturaunt or something.

im a bag boy this summer. I make 7.10/hour plus an extra 2-5 dollars/hour, depending on the day. We pool tips, so it's gay.

Whoa... apparently I make some ridiculously good money for caddying... minimum is $22/bag, and I do 2 bags per round, so minimum $44/round, and I never make less than $80... so average $35-$50 tips for 4 hours.

i am a club cleaner at a country club, and i make 50$ a day easy....and all i do is clean clubs and drive golf carts...but i have been known to make 100$ a day....

The last day I worked in a the bar I worked for a bit in the bathroom (just stand there and hand people paper towels and give them gum and/or cologne and/or condoms). I made $30/h in tips that night. If I knew I could do that I wouldn't have left.

When I was a cart boy we got paid $8 an hour plus tips which we pooled and generally averaged out to another $15-$20 an hour for the day. So we averaged anywhere from $150 to $200 a day cleaning carts, cleaning clubs and picking up range balls. And on big weekends like 4th of July or Member Guest Tournaments we could easily make $300 a day in tips alone. Was an awesome job but the old rich pricks sucked big time. One of the members there owns the Dolphins, Wayne Heizenga, Don Shula is a member also, along with some other rich tool bags from Sotuh Florida.

I work at the Outback Steakhouse, and I usually will walk out with at least $45 on a slow night, and a good night can be about $80-90 in tips alone, not counting the minimum wage I get which is like $7 somethin..So i'd say im doing pretty well.

im a maid. people apparaently do not tip maids that well. my tips really vary...the most ive gotten was 25$ from one room...so its not overly fantastic..but not toooooo bad.

i work at a burger king and the only reason i get tips like once a month is because they feel sorry that i have to work with my manager because she yells all day long. and once i got 20 bucks because some stupid person drove away without there change and didn't come back

i also work at a coffee shop, but we apparently get tipped way better. i made $30 last night in 5 hours and that's only half of the total cause i was working with another girl. it's not starbucks either. tips are nice cause now i always have some cash.

yeah i love tips....just cause its like instant grattification (sp.?) like with a pay check you work for like 2 weeks or sumthing and only get paid once...i mean its a big pay but with tips you get like at least 20 bucks everyday/other day....tahts why i like getting tips

I work at a pizza place and I normally make about 10$ in tips during a 4 hr. shift. Sometimes drunk old men will come in and give like 30 dollar tips but their really scary and disgusting...

Xski, i thought my club had the worst rates, its a min. of $20 a bag plus $10-30 is tips plus $3-20 per cart.

they give suggested rates, but C caddies usually get 20-25, B get 50-75, A get 80-100, honor caddies get 100-a shitload, and they get to play the main course (fucking nice). but for women, forget it, they're bitches and they dont give you shit, and they're all old, so you when you kiss their ass during the round, you feel like you cant masturbate for a week

Yeah, I never ever get less than $80. Last year I made $270 in one day, a morning and afternoon tournament round... $140 and $130, respectively. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. It's a job that requires a lot of ass-kissing, though.

I get $8/hr to pump gas, work in a garage, average pay for one day= 40-60 bucks, and average tips for an 8 hour day= 5 bucks. Next year wokring at a ritzy Country CLub, gonna rake it in like the boys up top

ha, good caddie story, i was on my third loop ever, and the other caddie is this middle aged fat guy. so we're out forecaddying, golfers cant see us. he pulls out this little wooden box, opens it, pulls out a lighter, and what i thought was a cigarette. starts smokin this thing, and its not burning. hes like, 'do you smoke? no, good, dont' takes another hit. i find out later, from another caddie, this guys smokin crack out of a one hitter! shit, maybe we should just start a caddie thread?
