Help with weasleing out of something

So this girl asked me to a dance (its tradition of the dance for the girls to ask guys) but she looks like a dinkey and really took me by suprise so i was like umm sure. so now she is uper excited but I dont really want to go with her. i am going to go to the dance with her as to not be a total dick but i really dont want to take her to dinner before hand. her friends would be there and i dont know a single one of them and i dont even really know the girl. So NS how do i weasle out of going to dinner? The dance starts at 8 and is on a saturday.

I thought about showing up flyin like a kite but i still might have to pay for dinner that way. I was thinkin say i was gonna be in denver till like 7ish and i was super sorry but i couldnt make it to dinner but i will still go to the dance with her.

I bet there's like a 90 percent chance you bail on her, and in like 5 years you are going to be like, "god damn I was a small person in highschool. Who gives a shit I should have just gone..." and also there are a ton of chicks that were kicked as fuck in HS that turned out hot as hell. It is an unbelievable phenomenon...

If I was in your situation I would take her out. It would probably mean a lot more to her, than not going would mean to you. Just make it obvious that you're just going as friends, it might not actually turn out as bad as you think.

This is absolutely true! Also about 40% of the hot girls in high school will lose their charm by college... don't be a dick and bail on her... just go and keep it chill; just treat her as a friend. Apart from which you should feel honoured that she asked you. If you openly and publicly show that she is having a good time around you the hotter girls will become jealous of her because that she is having such an awesome time with you; and their impression of you will go up! You honestly have nothing to lose.

yea thats true i think i will go. NS gave some decent advice for once. I am little hesitant though becasue all her friends will be there and i dont know a single one of them . probly just drink alittle to get rid of any shyness. hahaha
