Sticky icky gooey stuff all over the place.

There must be lots of it all over since there are 30 stickies crammed into the main forums, for a while there ski gabber had 7-8 stickies. Why don't we unsticky some of those, if they are interesting topics that are not important for people to read, they will see plenty of action while they are relevant and then nicely die when their time comes. I really don't need to see every single contest in the skiing world when I click on ski gabber.

I almost did it... because that would be really funny.

Stickies will disappear with time. You can look past them right? THere's just a lot of cool stuff going on. :)

Why not have a few stickies that MUST be read, like rules and stuff, Then have a "links to important threads" sticky? Then we could also have an offical contest sway thread, links the the unthreadworthy threads. THESE REALLY NEED TO HAPPEN!

what's weird is that if a thread is stickied, it almost guarantees that i dont even glance at it. just gotten accustomed to skipping past them since theyre usually contests and stuff

A current contest sticky is a great idea, One post that the admins manage that has links to all the current contests.

IDEA: being able to sticky threads into my threads so you dont have to repost in them to get them back into "my threads"

contest stickies should all be removed, there is a big bold "contests" tab at the top of the page, if members are to lazy to check it every now and again, then they don't deserve to win

I don't really have a problem with them, since the majority of the contest ones are only there for a relatively short time
