Armada AR7 vs. Atomic Punx/Patent

Can't decide which skis to get. I'm skiing east coast, 6''1.  I want a durable ski that will do well on jumps and rails.  I will mount my skis with a Rossignol FKS 140 binding.  Anyone has feedback about either one of those skis ?

I read a lot of bullshit about the Punx on this forum. Never heard something bad about the Ar6-7, people love them, i would say get the ar7.

punx are a lot softer, they dont hold wax well and arn't the most durable ski. AR7 for sure man!

No he is correct. Armada and Atomic are made in the same factory. But, i would go with the punx. it is one of the lightest park skis out there. next years model has the new edging that is supposed to not crack. if that does work, that in my opinion is an amazing park ski. i believe the punx is fully symmetrical too.

i have the ar7s and they are the best skis i have ever riden, super light like i could hardly notice them on the lift. The swing weight is amazing as well, also they are nice and soft so its easy to butter, the durability is also really nice I had someone ski straight over them and hardly even got a scratch on em, along with the bases i skied straight over a rock swore like crazy and then fond out they where not even that bad.

Only bitches care about weight.

Swing weight is what matters.

They are not that stiff.

I could butter mine easily.

they really aren't as stiff as they say they are on the armada site they are way closer to the Thall flex pattern

I don't think any park twin is going to be stiff to the point where it's actually difficult to butter, you push enough force on it and it's going to bend. When companies say stiff they don't mean like race ski stiff and definitely not big mountain ski stiff. Chronics are supposed to be stiff and when i ski my brothers I feel nothing of the sorts compared to other skis.

they ar7 flex pattern is crazy, you can butter it with ease and it is still stiff were it counts, tail butters for me are much harder on the ar7 then other any ski, which is good if you land backseat on a big jump you wont wash out.

i have ar6s. soooo solid. spinweight=nothing. sooooo durable you dont have to worry about your edges. stiff/poppy tails. softer tips. In my opinion perfect ski. i really want to try the ar7s/thalls/halos
