Sup guys, so I have to write this paper for my sociology class, here's a brief paraphrasing of the assignment outline:
Your assignment is to create a Charter of Rights and Freedoms and a set of laws to govern the Internet with the goal of creating the best internet possible.
Define what an ideal internet looks like to you. If the goal is to create "the best internet possible," what does that mean to you? Feel free to ask philosophical questions like: How can we balance freedoms and responsibilities online?
Justify your proposals, don't just describe them. Why are they an improvement on the status quo?
I figured NSG might be a pretty good place to do some basic informal research, so I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand and offer up some ideas. I'm not trying to get NS to do my homework for me, I just figured I could benefit from the ideas of people like yourselves who are active internet users.
