What should my first beer be?

NSG I'll be 21 this April and I've never drank any alcohol before, what would you guys suggest for my first drink? Looking for something not too shitty, but I mean if you guys think I should start off low, by all means let me know. Suggestions? And post up what your first beer or drink was.

pbr is the smoothest so it won't taste as shitty if you've never drank beer before

otherwise stella is delicious, but stay away from any shitty light beer because it tastes like piss water and is a bad intro into the wonders of drinking

Budweiser, the king of beers. No, I don't know, when I tried my first beer I hated it (Heineken) but that's probably because I was 14. So, try a Leinenkugel if you're from the midwest

Just find a local microbrew or craft beer. So much better than the shitty generic stuff. I prefer darker beers, as I find they have more flavor, but it's pretty hard to tell you what to try first since you've never had anything. Congrats on making it all the way to 21 without a drink though. I only made it to 19 before I gave in.

Hoegaarden, it is a white beer brewed in Belgium, it has a really nice flavour, but it a bit pricey (well worth the money in my opinion).

I would recommend PBR if you want something a bit cheeper as it is a fairly good tasting beer and for a really good price (at least in canada)

Dont go with pbr, sure its awesome but is super shitty compared to alot. you made it 21 years without drinking, celebrate that with the most expensive beer you can find.

Get some Augustiner, it is brewed in Munich, Germany. best beer I have ever had.
Not sure if they sell outside of munich, but try and get some

No, but seriously...don't drink that. Buy some expensive stuff, realize you don't immediately like it, then start low.

Stella is my favorite, followed by Grolsch. Unfortunately, with beer you get what you pay for, so to drink well, you have to pay up.

For your own sake, don't get caught up drinking nothing but keystone and shit like that.

american beer is terrible. so try an imported beer.
id go a german beer like Heineken or maybe Carlsberg
but when i was in america one of the better tasting beers in my opinion was Dos equis or Dos XX something like that. i think it has the most interesting man in the world ads. id try it with a slice of lime and your set.
