Cans or Bottles (BEER)

Everything you've said is correct besides kegs being aluminum. It's been a long time since aluminum kegs were used. Kegs today are stainless steel. Also, the light thing you mentioned, is most likely irrelevant since domestic beers have a short shelf life (No more than a few months) and imports usually have about a year-long shelf life. I would only imagine light affecting beers in 6-packs, or sold in 24/32 oz. individual bottles.

Aside from that, you're totally right, cans vs. glass has no effect, many people just enjoy drinking from glass more than a can. Shit, I'll take a cold bottled beer any day over a can from the same cooler.

Completely forgot to mention that a lot of times beer in a keg is not pasteurized as bottled and canned beer is. However, many brewers have figured out how to ensure that the pasteurization process doesn't hinder the taste.

cans make better barriers for conserving beer but requires more capital for a small brewery. either way when you're enjoying beer it should be from a glass. but if you're just drinking beer I like bottles.

cans for partying, bottles for casual drinking....unless it's a 40oz bottle.
