i like bottles because i enjoy using one of my many awesomely placed bottle openers to open them and everybody being like "wow! that guys cellphone/keychain/flipflop/trailerhitch/windowsill/bicycle/assault rifle/ noevelty pen/ wedding ring has a bottle opener on it! how cool and trendy!"

but i also only make minimum wage, and bottles normally contain beer made with some sort of quality for people with financial stability, so i pretty much only drink beer from cans.

Honestly, if its a matter of taste, there is no argument: Bottles are better.

My cousins husband runs two budweiser plants and he refuses to drink anything but tapped and bottled beer cause canned beer tastes so much shittier.

I'm pretty stoked on the fact that more breweries are starting to put tasty beer in cans. They're just easier to deal with when camping/skiing etc. And correct me if I'm wrong, but i thought aluminum was easier to recycle than glass, but I'm not sure.

Either way, its all about what's inside that counts. Whenever possible, i try to pour whatever I'm drinking into the appropriate glass.

bottles obviously taste better than cans but I use them differently based on situations.

Cans are for skiing/sailing/camping/etc where glass is either dangerous or takes up more space

Bottles for hanging out at home or parties, drinking in a free environment outside of the bar

always draft at bars, thats the point of being able to get beer at a bar. also beer generally taste better when stored in larger quantities (i.e. kegs, growlers, 40's etc.)

I don't care, and will usually poor it into a glass regarldess. I do think of the two cans are easier to drink out of.

All modern day cans (beer or soda) and coated inside with a very thin layer of plastic to keeo the beer from absorbing any "can taste." The cans themselves are made from a type of alumnium that is not supposed to leatch any taste. The only time beer in a can comes incontact with metal is when it flows through the opening. I think if you taste "can" it's all in your head. Also beer in cans isn't effected at all by the light which alters the taste profile of many bottled beers if they are not stored properly.
