I skiied these boots and the liner of my left boots was biting into my calf where it wrapped around. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I thought heat molding might work, haven't tried it yet. It is to the point where i may cut off the edge of the liner. HELP
Got bad news dude, I had something similar, narrowed it down to the wrap liners in the end, they just dont work for my strange legs. Hope its not that, GTABF (Go To A Boot Fitter).
I know this sounds weird and like it probably shouldn't work, but...wrap the liners the other way. I know a few people that the liner hurts when wrapped around their leg properly, but when you wrap it the other way it doesn't hurt. Heat molding could also REALLY help, but obviously, the wrapping the other way method is a lot easier to try...
Yeah I actually did try wrapping them the other way, just didn't want to look like a gaper with his FTs wrapped the wrong way. It feels a lot better that way. Thanks for the advice definately getting them baked.
You're not going to be drastically and permanently going to be changing the liner.
Try it for a run or two, if it doesn't work, then that's just another option to scratch off your list of options.
Most intuition liners can be molded multiple times too. It's not suggested that you pass liners on since it's a health issue, but try molding it wrapped one way, then molding it wrapped the other.
