As far as the kickers in the edit in question, i agree, they're fucking huge. It's weird, it seems to be unnecessary seeing that he is a very good rail skier.
As far as the "which side is legit" question, that's another thing. It's funny how everyone representing the "non legit" side seems to think that because they say it, it's true. How about presenting a coherent argument proving your point, instead of just saying "that's the way it is, because i say so". It's pretty childish, and it's a completely invalid argument. Things are what you make them, if he want's to build it on that side, he will do so. Of course you are free to criticise him, but that doesn't mean you're right. Maybe he want's to change the perception of what is legit? Point is, it seems illogical, even stupid, to be so forcefully supporting the legitimacy of a supposed rule, in a sport that's not really supposed to be a sport, but a life style that offers a culture without many rules, at least the stupid kind.
I'm not saying it's legit to build the kicker on that side, i'm just saying that you cannot argue the legitimacy of a rule, when there aren't suppose to be any. It's freeskiing, do what you wan't to do, and don't follow the rules that others try to pull over your head.
