I searched on forums and couldn't find anything about this.
I was wondering why the pros and now a lot of people at local mountains and stuff are wearing their goggle strap under their helmet. I mean why? If you just didn't want your goggles over your eyes you have to unbuckle the Helmet, tilt it back and then lift your goggles up. Why not just have it on top on the helmet then you can lift them up whenever you want.
This is probably just a new fad, and if it is, I think it's the stupidest fad ever.
goggles on top for days.. thats just me.. i just started wearing a helmet.... fuck what you look like.. just ski.... and im pretty sure if any one gave me shit on the hill.. i would head butt the fuck out of them steal one ski and throw it in the woods
personally i like it over way more and ive done both. when i have it under it pushes my helmet way up and it feels weird and like im trying to jam a ton of shit under my helmet when my gogs and beanie are both underneath. it honestly probly has to do mostly with the type of helmet, helmet size and goggles
it's not as if over the helmet is the default really.. as far as i can remember no one's offered a great reason to keep them over your helmet. under makes perfect sense-- i do what i'd do if im not wearing a helmet, goggs over headband, then toss my pro tec over it whenever. straps dont get stretched out and it's comfy. also youre mad
This. Thats exactly why I do it, I always hated having to have my helmet on in order to have my goggles on when im eating lunch on the hill or something. Also its more comfortable in my opinion, especially on the poc receptor which is the helmet i have.
