10k is nothing. try 10 mile. Thats hard only been in one though. But we usually run farther than 10k in practice. Like 7 miles in practice

i've done a bunch of 10Ks in ontario. i'm 17 and started when i was 13 i think. fun stuff. i want to do a half marathon soon too.

never did a 10k...but i do race 8k's a lot....i'm runnin at least 70 mpw this summer for some nice summer training
no matter how hard you shake and dance, the last few drops go in the pants

highschool races are only 5k...i do that in about 18:30...the course i did that on included a small ski hill, so you have to take that into consideration

jeol prentice, ottawa ontario, national capital race weekend 10k when i was 15, 44 mins 20 secs with absolutely no training.

ps. triathlons are much more fun, and yeah, nordic skiing races are totally the most difficult.

um, there's a huge difference between racing a 10k and running 10 miles in practice. i've never actually full out raced a 10k, but i've done them as hard runs during summer training. i've done a 36 something.

I ran a 10k every year for a few years since I was 12 I think. Then I got lazy and stopped.

It was pretty intense though. Massive hills the whole way, around a lake. Good times. I wish I still ran.
