Ski Sizing HELP please

Hello. I'm interested in the k2 domains, I cannot decide if i should get the 169cm or 179cm. I'm about 5'10. I'm expected to be like 6 feet. i only weigh 135/40lbs. I currently have 169cm volkl ledges but my binding snapped today. I ride all groomers. 85% park, 15% cruisin'. I jib like 80% of the time in the park, and only hit like 20-30ft jumps when i do hit jumps, and i can only 3 them. I'm leaning towards 169cm just cause it worked fine, but wanna here opinions of you guys. (Also, post your thoughts on how domain compares to revival)

p.s. I know this makes me sound like your typical ns poser, but im not that bad....just want opinions

I`d go 179, if you ever decide to wander into some pow or anything of the sort you`ll be thankful for them being longer. 169 is just too short for someone almost 6 feet

I agree, a longer ski will also feel better on groomers IMO

oh and you`ll obviously be progressing a lot within the next few years, and if you generally don`t tear your skis to shit and will still be using them in a couple years then you won`t want to be skiing something too short and needing to buy the next size up. Already they`re not too short for you, but even if you think they are you`d for sure grow into them and you`ll be at an advantage skiing anything outside park

i thought the 169's i was on were fine....but i also dont know anything different....

see if you can demo a longer ski somewhere? or try out a friends pair that are longer. like I said, 169 is pretty short for someone almost 6 foot.

but if you said just the binding broke on the skis you were on and you like them then why not get a new set of bindings? or replace whatever part is broken depending what it is.

try out different sizes and see how you feel.

shorter skis are super easy to control but are unstable at higher speeds especially if your tall or weight more than average.

longer skis are more stable but tougher to control.

all this is dependent on your weight, height, and riding style

im only like 135lbs. not heavy at all. would have kept skis but they have already been drilled into twice. dont wanna put more $$ into them.

id go with anything closest to 180.  bigger ski faster ski, bigger platform.   your quite tall so ur weights not an issue.(leverage)  plus they force u to steez out ur airs.

Go for the 179's. I'm 5'11 and will be getting 179s once I have the money (I'm still on my park skis from 3 years ago.) They will be more stable on jumps and while spinning and if you ever get in the pipe they will help a lot. Also rails will not be much harder on the longer skis.

agreed 179 or longer even. im 5.6 and rockin 171s and the longer ski feels wayyyyy betteerr

179, i'm around the same size and i'm on 176 and would go to 180
cm. are really like ____ that big hah not a huge difference i'm not too picky but 179 sounds right
