Music Editor for PC

I'm in need of a music editor for PC. I'd like for it to be free as for right now I just need it to cut a few songs. What are some good free downloadable music editing programs for PC?

Fl studio (what used to be fruity loops), that's what I always used before going mac. Not free though.

Sony's "Acid Xpress" is free though. Ok program.
