I'm looking to get a summer job in Norway, I've been looking at Folgefonna and the park looks dope. What are my chances of getting a job without being able to speak Norwegian? Is the park only open for the camps up there or is it public? What about getting a job in Stavanger or Bergen and driving up to the mountain instead? Good idea or not?
I reckon you should be able to get a job, just not behind the counter. Try as a stockboy or whatever it's called (guy that places customt in the shelves etc in stores)
Its probably best to just contact them, send them a mail or something. If you dont speak norwegian(or even swedish/danish) you chances are slimmer. But I'm sure theres alot of jobs to be done that doesnt involve customer (tho im sure handing t-lifts to kids wouldnt be aproblem)
just contact them and ask, tell them about your situation. From what i know the guys up there are pretty laid back, they might hook you up with something to do
Folgefonna is dope, but it's gonna be more crowded there this summer than ever, because of the camps... If i were you i would rather go to Juvass, so sick! Or maybe Stryn?
