Replying to Takin' off brakes
the summer is coming up this year, which means more abuse for my undecided pair of summer skis. whichever one i use (anthems or extremes, both basically urban condish) i'll probably mount my griffons to, simply because my head mojo 12's suck, and the torsion in the dins is all messed up. (i have it set to like 9 and im 145 pounds but i still release for no reason, often during switch ups and stuff)
now everybody knows that the easiest part of a bindings to break is the brake. brakes break. i was wondering if there is a way to take the brake arm things that hang down off of a ski, while keeping it fully functional, and then putting them back on in the winter. has anybody ever done or tried this? i want to use my griffons as i like them much more than my heads but i can only imagine that the brakes will get raped over 6 months of grass, wood, and PVC.
+k for all real help, would be much appreciated. and i googled it, didn't find squat.
