JibAcad+railjam (all ages) this weekend at the Whale

Myself and some of the Salomon team are coming back to the east this weekend for the jib academy at Whaleback on Sunday. Not only will there be the Jib Academy (16&under), there is also and all ages railjam with cash prizes. Come hangout, BBQ, and shred, should be one of the sickest events on the east coast this year.

everyone come up to sunapee after. there is a big air comp gong down that a bunch of my friends set up.

they are lighting up the bottom jump and hopefully some rails basically for a night shoot. Gonna be dopeee

Hi Everyone,

Whaleback is quickly approaching and we couldn't be more excited. Due to an overwhelming amount of emails, we are still getting back to you guys regarding the wait list and other details so thank you for your patience.

Here is a schedule of the days events:

8:00- 8:45am Registration (upstairs in lodge)

9:00- Welcome Mtg, Break in to Groups with pro coaches

9:30-12:00pm- Ski in groups with coaches

12:00-1:00pm- Lunch (upstairs in lodge)

1:00- Finalists announced

1:30-2:30- Finals take place

3:00-4:00- All ages Rail Jam Salomon pro coaches judge

4:30- Awards for Jib Academy + Rail Jam/ Poster Signing/ Hot Chocolate + Snack bar

Best Photo + Best Edit Contest!

Winner of each receives a GoPro HD camera

Photo and Edit contest entries to be submitted to Salomon Jib Academy Facebook page by Friday, March 11th.

Winners are announced on Tuesday, March 15th

Salomon + Whaleback to judge

If you are an aspiring photographer, bring your cameras and video gear to get in on this contest. It's easy.

The prizes this year are insane and include the grand prize trip to Mammoth for both one guy and one girl. There is tons of free gear, Whaleback resort passes GoPro cameras and more.

All events are free. You must purchase a lift ticket and have a helmet. Lunch is on us as well.

Rail Jam registration will take place in the morning as well.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR WAIVERS TO COMPETE IN JIB ACADEMY AND/OR THE RAIL JAM. If you are under 18, it has to be signed by a parent or guardian. Don't be the kid who forgets their waivers!
