Jon Olsson anounced another 4 invited riders for JOI

4 more JOI riders…

Thought it was time to release a few more names that I would love to have over at JOI.

1. Jacob Wester.
A lot of people was wondering where he was in the first round of invites, but I figured that how much fun would it be if we released all names right away. of course we want to see Jacob in Åre, and the hopefully land one of his dub 16… [IMG]joinvitational.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif[/IMG]

2. LJ Strenio
LJ is Crazy, LJ is good, I like LJ!

3. Gus Kenworthy
I feel that its time for Gus to get out of the “video qual category”, he has proven himself over and over and its time to get a real solid invite!

4. Phil Casabon
Every event needs the style of Phil, so does JOI!

fuck all the casabon haters; did he not just finish higher at euro x than a few competitors who threw dubs in their runs? oh you better believe he did. Dubs =/= the only way to score points in comps

don't know if anyone was in attendance at the london freeze but they had a competition on the last night and the riders were set a trick (zero spin was one of them) and whoever did it cleanest got the points

i'd love to see that as a more predominant competition rather than thrown in to kill some time on a sunday night, it was amazing to see cork 3's etc being thrown

So you're saying that because Henrik can do dubs and all the most technical tricks, he should be scored higher for not throwing the best trick because he wants to something different and creative?

Well that's just ridiculous. Just because he can do a dub 10 he shouldn't be scored higher on a bio 12 or whatever.

I may have read your post wrong, but that's just the message that I am getting.
