Okay so this is kind of hard to explain. So you know when the camera pans in a shot and you create text so it looks and creates the illusion as if the text was in the shot you were filming so like when you pan the camera the text is like just sitting on a jib or the lip of a jump or something. Can anyone help me out? +K for help

you would have to do some gnarly keyframing and it would be a pain in the ass but i am sure you could do it. i think it would only work if you have vegas pro. correct me if i a wrong but i am pretty sure the other non-pro versions of vegas does not have the compositing mode "3d source alpha". that makes it so you can move a certain clip (or text in this case) on the x,y,z axis

so just set your compositing mode to 3d source alpha and play around in the "track motion" tool. the only down fall is that they are not 3d letters so it might look a little crude... but keyframe the best you can and hopefully it turns out the way you want it

i think when i go to film i will prepare for a shot like this. as in use a tripod for a shot i know i want to add the title in so the text will look stable and in the spot i want. I won't pan the camera or anything because i don't want to do that much keyframing... thanks for all ur help +k to u sir
