Like it or not, Wiz is now sharing stardom with Snooki, who is also featured on the cover and in the magazine, and last months Rolling Stone cover boy Justin Bieber.
where did the assumption that everyone used to like him come from? I bet a lot of people disliked him from the beginning and feel he doesn't deserve the cover of rolling stone, albeit more than fucking snooki does.
it's funny that you say this, becuase it's exactly what happened with my. black and yellow first drop, and i was like hmmm this is pretty sick. then as he started to blow up, i went deeper into his music and realized what crap most of it is. hell he has hundreds of songs, but a good 85% percent of them are god awful. shitty beats, same lyrics about weed. don't get me wrong, i like some of his stuff, but most of it is just genuinely terrible music.
thrown is actually a legit wiz song though. the reason for the majority of this hate for wiz is because he has changed from making good songs such as thrown, to making radio hits.
Glad to hear that you are interested in joining us on the "Meh, Wiz Is Alright" bandwagon. We are thrilled to hear that you are onboard with us, and we would be glad to have you with us. However, we do require the completion of some paperwork before you ride the bandwagon. We look forward to hearing back from you.
I absolutely love everyone on this site's grudge with anything that is or becomes popular. If I told you Wiz was on the cover of rolling stone 2 years ago kids would be jizzing.
Thank you for your prompt response. I have decided to wait to sign with your organization until after the release of Wiz Khalifa's new album "Burning Papers" on March 29th. Once I have listened and analyzed his lyricism and musicality I will give you a final answer.
Honestly, I first heard about Wiz when he became "cool". I didn't like him then, everyone said his old stuff was better. I listened to a couple older mixtapes and still didn't like him. No hate, I just don't like him
i agree his sound is much different then it used to be. thrown =/= black and yellow
but you cant blame him for changing, everyone does. either you like it or you dont. dont hate cause he got on the cover of a magazine. its not like that picture is on the ceiling above your bed, so cool your tits.
I'm from Pittsburgh and I have been kind of listening to him for a few years... He has some good songs (mostly from because he has dope producers) but he has no flow. It seems like sometimes he just spews random shit on the track and people just eat it up.
I can already tell that Rolling Papers is going to be bullshit mainstream radio music. Good for him that he is successful but I don't think he deserves RS cover.
Ghostface Killah on Wiz: "He might got some songs that yall might enjoy n shit but he a straight glitter blooded nigga wit a bullshit ass rhyme book when it come down to it nahmean." Hahahaha
