i would say that sammy is a more all round skier, but he cant touch wallisch's style

sammy is spreading out his genres and getting to the top in each right now.
I want to see tom do the same, but am still waiting. hope is should is good to go now.

i think a better comparison would be harluat and wallisch- because when it comes to jumps casabon cant touch them

Yeah...we're talking about Carlson, not Casabon.

And just comparing skier to skier Sammy blows Tom out of the water. Tom is better at rails and is slightly more stylish, but that is it. Sammy has him in every other aspect of skiing. Sammy is better on jumps, (sw dub misty, sw triple, dubs in both directions...) in BC, (obviously) and is much more consistent. He's been on the X Games podium for how many years now?

wallisch def has sammy on jumps besides the triple and dub misty walisch has all four dub corks switch right 1440 overall more variety the only thing sammy has on tom is bc

Tom has never thrown sw right dubs in comps...I don't even think I've seen Tom do right dubs at all...And Sammy has more grabs with his dubs/has pokes like crazy.

I'll be hated for this but I think Tom is pretty overrated. He's a great skier, one of the top five park skiers, but he isn't number one.

true that... last time i checked... they both are amazing... but i can say .. i have seen sammy grow up.. besides being a amazing park skier.. all around he kills it to a high degree.. i cant say that about twallish cause i never have seen him ski in person..

the first time i met sammy .. i was in government camp... and i was walking wearing an armada hoodie. and hes like. Dude are you sponserd.. i was like "no" he then gave me a stack of 4frnt sitckers.. he then hit cop car with a snowball.... true story

Thanks, I had never seen that before it was sick. Not sure how I missed it...I still stand by the fact that Carlson is better at jumps due to the sw dub misty and triple, a ton of people are doing right dubs now but only two are doing trips/dub misty.

pretty different skiers but sammy is uniquely talented while tom is very talented, dont get me wrong, but he just kinda kills afterbang a little too much... but tom is definettly one of my favorite skiers

Sammy's rail game is definitely underrated. Wallisch can hit BC booters but haven't really seen him ski any lines in his segments. Both are amazing skiers but I would say that Sammy is much more well rounded

Tom had all 4 double 10s before Sammy did a triple.. which was before he had learned any right doubles. And sammy having more grabs is just not true... he's doing mutes with the majority of his tricks.


Sammys a great skier, and he learned more tricks this summer than almost any other pro I can think of(the majority of which are absolutely insane)... But i think wallisch is definitely the #1 park skier... His jumps are really only matched by Bobby and Elias, and the only 2 people to come close to his rail skills are LJ and Gus. Again, i dont want to put your comment or Sammy down, but I think Tom takes the cake.

I wouldn't really call wallisch a park rat anymore, his last couple of movie segments have had BC booters and he has expressed interest in getting more into the backcountry scene. I think in a couple of years tom will be just as well rounded as sammy is today.

Hitting backcountry jumps is not the same thing as skiing lines.

As far as being a skier is concerned I don't think its a question who is better.  One is filming with TGR and winning X games.

Oh and to whoever said sammy is a lot older than Tom needs to use google because tom is almost 2 years older....

Tom doesn't really care about comps, he skis for fun. Sammy I would say is a better skier just because of the tricks he can throw a;though I like Tom Wallisch more.
