Windells Session 1 or Breck Spring Break

My mom gave me the choice of going to Breck for a week on spring break, or session 1 of windells. I am not sure which i want to do yet, so i came to NS to get Pro's/Con's and what they think.

that's what I was thinking and i can also get more runs in at windells than spring break at breck

It depends on what you're looking for. If you want perfectly sculpted huge jumps, go to Breck. It you want to play around in the slush and get coaching, go to Windells.

defiantly need coaching, but i heard breck has some good park coaches, now leaning more towards windells

IMO which may be biased ha ha. I would hit up Session 1 because:
*Great way to start out your summer
*You said you need coaching
*Plus all of the other reasons why kids go to Windells

ya breck is going to be packed youd be better off going to keystone if you xhoose that route. persinqlly i would take windells because you will learn a ton and it extends your ski season a week in june where you could just ski at home over spring break. sorry for typos using ns mobile

Are you on the level right now where you'll progress on their massive jumps at breck? I'm going to assume not. That just means you'll end up hitting their smaller parks which you could do elsewhere... I would recommend going to mhssc for two weeks and getting amazing coaching for the price of once week at the other places. I've been to breck and it's awesome, but if you really want to progress more than anything, go to camp

WIndells for sure, ski camp was one of the best experiences of my life. Breck over spring break will be a mad house, you will be waiting in lift lines more than skiing

Windells FTW.  They will feed you so much food, your housing and transportation to the mountain and lift tickets are includeddddd.   And you get to use their facilities including their tramps. AND you get structured coaching with video review...duh

Windells definitely man! Just think about it this way... You can ski your local mountain during spring break and progress... then ski in the summer and progress a shit ton... That means you will ski a week more than if you went to breck.

I've been to Breck and Windells.

First, if you go to Breck, also go to Keystone because keystone is insane. You won't regret it. Going to Breck will give you more freedom because you can go to town or do whatever you want. Windells probably has a little worse park but both are good. If you are into skating, Windells is a good choice because you get a lot of time in skate parks. You will probably also meet a lot of cool kids at Windells. If you want to ride medium sized jumps, the three line at Windells is sick. If you want to ride rails, go to Keystone. The rails at Windells are sick too, but they are a little close together and people get in the way. Speed bumps tend to form between the rails at Windells too. The atmosphere at Windells is awesome because of the pros, but some of the coaches mostly ride the big jump on nice days.

Either one is amazingly fun though.

windells sound like it would be a lot esier in terms of lodging, lines, transportation etc.

and it would be much more fun IMO

the way the snow is piling up at hood right now.   session one should be good.. and the fact that is right after cutters camp..  so the timby pube park is gonna be off the hook.

breck is sick. but spring break will be a cluster fuck.. and who knows how the weather will be..
