Using a Gopro with cliff jumping

I was thinking it would be cool to make an edit this summer of the various things I like to jump off of. There are a couple rock cliffs about 20ft high and a bridge that's maybe 25ft. How would I be able to wear a gopro for these jumps? I was thinking about the chest harness but if I belly flop that would surely break some ribs.

headstrap, or hand held
make sure to have a leash and attach the gopro to something floaty

I would say chest mount, If you are using a hand held it could really hurt if you land with your arm out filming yourself

But let's say worst case scenario I land on my chest, would that camera impact me pretty hard?

my friends and i have used the helmet mount with skateboard helmets and it works really well. you do look funny in a helmet but the shots look sweet. and the pole mount on a stick works well also because if you let go then the stick floats. test it out before you try it just to make sure

i tied a show lace through the hole in the case that the screw ties mounts to. then tied that to my wrist. and just held the camera.
i got some sick shots and it was real easy to just point and shoot the cam. best turn out was follow cams.

I use the chest mount when cliff jumping. The only down side to it is if you don't have it somewhat tight to your body, when you land it will launch up and nail you in the face. It has only ever happened off of a 40 footer though. If you go hand held then make sure you tie it to your wrist or something. I dropped mine in murky water and barely caught it.
