Need help looking for a pow ski

I live on the east coast so Im used to ice, but every year I ski more and more pow whether up north or out west. But I need the ski to be managable on the east coast incase something happens to my park ski.
What Ski do you guys suggest for skiing pow pow but that can also be accpetable on the east coast?

blends are good on and off piste and being 100 underfoot they will be good for jumps but not much rails. and they do pretty well in powder

and sir francis bacons if you wanna be serious. they are 115 underfoot and still can do jumps but wouldnt touch rails. they are super buttery to. and they come in range of sizes

I hit alot of rails, so the thick underfoot seems to be the problem, althought blends do sound a bit more acceptable.

Defanatly moment night trains.
The most playfull ski ever. Holds up great in everyhting. Super light. Can take hits and are perfect width.

I have a friend who demoed the Blends, and absolutely hated them. He claims that if he had to throw one ski in a fire, it would be them. I dont know why exactly, they seem like a cool ski to me, but he said something about them just sucking everywhere and being a super dead noodle.

You might try and pick up some Elizabeths, and look at some skis like the S3, ON3P Jeronimo, ect. The Surface New Life might actually be perfect for you.

go for armada JJs. Have heard nothing but good stuff about them, and they are an all mtn shredder, but not so much in park. What i am doing next year is im getting the JJs and putting Dukes on them for touring and im just going to keep my salomons as my park ski, i think thats the best way to go. Especially with the New Lifes your looking at, theres no way that could be your only ski, especially in the East.

I look at purchasing some JJ's over summer, all my money goes to lift tickets. Ive got some libertys laying around i probably throw up for trade

yeah, i dont think the New Lifes will be practicle in the East other than Jay or Stowe maybe. The JJs look good cuz they have rocker and reverse sidecut, but also regular camber and regular sidecut which makes it perfect for all mountain shennanigans

if you are loooking for a one ski that can do it all that will be tough i hate to recomend a line ski but the blend might be your best choice. i have an el rey mounted at ski center which is ok in powder no more then 18 inches and my ar7's at center where a no go in the fluffaduff, but the jj's are a sick ski for everything but park. they get my vote for a pow ski over anything.

Thats what i hear from people in the East, that those 2 mtns have the best snow. idk if its true or not, but ive heard many people say that.
