around 6 months. sometimes i wonder what'd it'd be like to have really long hair, but getting past the mid-length phase is so rough. i look pretty good with short hair, and it's comfortable and easy to deal with, but i look completely awful with medium length hair (since it just kinda bieber's on me and i look like one of the beatles or something) and then i always cut it at that point. sucks having really straight hair that naturally parts on one side, cause when it's too long to stick up or style a bit, it just flops to one side. yuck.

wow... .... i went for 3 years and i cut it when it was 2 feet long... epic metal hair.. i donated it to locks of love..... i did get trim ups for split ends..... its been a year since that first cut..... and i have got it cut a couple times since then.. but now i am going to grow it out again..... fucking metal..... whats weird since i quit smoking pot... it has stared growing faster then ever.... weird.

Longest is about 14 months.
I cut mine in May every year once ski season is over. Then don't cut it again till the next ski season is over.
I thin it out here and there, but length is kept.

the original plan was to grow it out into a nice ass ponytail, start tanning and cash in on my native American heritage with a fancy new animal spirit name. a few months ago I was finally able to get it into a ponytail but it's no where near long enough to look good. And I'm pretty sure I've lost a good amount of hair just running my fingers through the tangles and shit.

Right now I'm at like 9 months, but I started with fairly long hair to begin with (stereotypical surfer dude, but not longhair, style haircut) and I've now gotten past the mid-long stage.

I've had longish to medium-long hair for the last couple of years, right now I'm going for a full-on longhair look. When I can grow face pubes that are dense enough for a beard, I'll be going for The Dude's type of look.
