I thought I'd just make a thread about this since I havent seen any on it and I was torn between putting this on gear talk or here but I decided here so.... Post all the skis you've owned/rode and put a * next to your favorite. Heres mine....

skis are different for everyone. theres no way to know how they will perform until you test them out yourself.

volkl ledges06/07 i kinda liked them but i didnt ride park then

line afterbangs 09/10 didnt like them

08/09 args love em but havent skied any other pow ski

10/11 2012's love em but not the durability

My true twins....First pair..Line E.P pros park editon 04/05

Line prophet 90s good charger but should of got 100s,

Rossi brigades(fun ski for park),

Surface Watch lifes(favorite ski for rails and butters)

Line step up( stiff at first the base is shit and they are in the worst condition of any ski i have ever owned and its not even spring yet).

Surface One life (Seem a little funky riding switch but i can carve them pretty good and charge a lot harder on chopped snow compared to my hellbents)

Hellbents(Fun in the park but they seemed to big and heavy also i was a riding a 179 because i found a good deal on it couldnt afford to get the 189

So out of all those skis in the last 6 years looking back the brigades were actually the best 1 ski quiver. The watch lifes were hands down my favorite skis, performance and graphics.

skied on the 2012 twenty twelves last night: soooo much fun. we'd had a bunch of snow (east coast), nothing was groomed, so i can't say if they'd be worth anything at speed on a groomer or on ice, but they're by far the most playful ski i've ever been on. they make my anthems seem like 2x4s. i could ollie like a mofo, buttering was like butter, go buy them, they're awesome.

02-03 line skogans! the train one only had them for a month sold to my buddy huge regret they were sick
02-03 space frame 1080 the worst ski i ever had hands down. chattery and sold to some kid on ski team
02-03 scratch bc 188.. bought them at a ski swap in the plastic for 200 buck... my favorate slki of all time got them at the beggining of 03 04 winter i cannot begin to say how epic that ski is.. sitll have it of course but ripped out a binding ;-(
the first ever armadas 180 ar5s they are the shit still have them and are waiting on some new marker biding parts
04-05 scatch fs the purple ones.... now this was my ski for a long long time. and i still have them they are beat the fuck up and ski like a dream...
08 scratch stzz picked them up on craiglist for 240 from some guy who barely skied them...... great ski. powder is fun and they hold a mean edge on the groomers.... a bit heavy but i dont care.


ive also ridden. Og mad trix. where you could spin the binding around for mtn or park
seth pistiols... Ep pros. line prototype 150 under foot mother fucks.... prophet 100s( broke them slapping the tips down on an over shoot at breck. and some more i cannot remember.

oh, and i guess my list would go...

151(?) salomon flyers - learned to ski again, good fun
177 volkl bridge, first year it came out - great, solid ski. stiff enough to actually ski hard on, good dimensions for park, i like it a lot
178 line anthems, snowboarders - probably the most fun ski i've owned. fairly soft and playful for butters, ollies, messing around, but enough stiffness to ride all mountain. not as good at speed as bridge, but more versatile.
180(?) salomon twenty twelves (2012) - skied them for a day, too much fun, as i said, can't say how they'd hold up at speed, seemed crazy soft, but tons of fun

then a bunch of rando rec/race skis, stiff, narrow/wide, fast.

I've skied a good deal of freeride and twintips skis for the current 2011 season as well as the 2012 stuff for next season. My favorite park skis are tied between Rossi S3, Nordica Ace of Spades, and K2 Domains, they are all awesome in their own ways. My least favorite was the Salomon 2012. The Suspect was pretty awesome though. Keep in mind this is just a few days of demoing, so I have no input in terms of durability for each ski. Also, there's no jibbing at demos I've been to, so all the skis I've ridden did a few jumps, but no rails or boxes. It's mainly skiing groomers.

I dont know if i can choose a single favorite ski
Line invaders- Love them since they are still kicking with no edge cracks and i use them as urban skis now.
Volkl Walls- Favorite park ski. Great durability and stiff. Great for pipe and big jumps
Armada jj- Favorite ski since i can do absolutely everything on them
