I want to purchase a set of Line Anthems, I was looking around on several different sites and discovered Octoland and Spiral Anthems in addition to the regular ones. Is there any structural difference between the '10 anthems and the '09 octoland anthems? Basically I wanna know if the octolands are as soft and as park oriented as the standard ones. Thanks, +k for helpful info.
I have the spiraLs but have also skied the regular ones and they're exactly the same I think the last model with the snowboarder topsheet has a couple more carbon strands in the ollieband to be just a hair poppier but the old ones are still very springy. All in all a solid ski. However the bases are pretty slow and lose wax very fast especially when going from slushy snow to dry, sticky packed. But a great ski all in all
Same exact ski. A few years ago, Line got in trouble for the rocker/metal graphic they proposed on the Anthem and needed to come up with some new topsheet ideas. So, Mr Pollard designed the Spirals and Octoland graphics on a limited number of Anthems.
Octolands and spirals are the same as the regular, I've ridden both the spirals and the regular ones, and octolands are one of the sickest graphics ever
I was looking at some other threads on here and saw one about a fellow ns'er bending his octolands. has anyone else seen or herd of this problem? I'm 6'1" 190, there were saying he was possibly to heavy for the size of the ski he purchased?
im a little bit shorter and lighter and i havent had structural issues with them, that being said on bigger jumps they were a little soft but really no issue. loved them so much you will be very happy with them.
