ahhh I went there for a year, but had to come home for personal reasons. Best year of my life tho. It's the best school everrrrrr. I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

I still havent heard back from UVM and applied earlier december, ive only heard back from two schools, Elmira and UMO, which were my two safety schools, still waiting for 6 more.

i go to champlain hit up the new england regionals forum it's like 90% people from burlington. Deff ski stowe for some real park action but the bush is so prime for geting a retarded amount of laps in and hitting mad rails. it's also the best place to learn tricks as all the kids who ski there are super chill and there is very little pressure. I think i got about 40 or 50 park laps in on saturday no joke.

LOL Hamden CT is a shithole dude, I live 5 minutes away from Quinnipiac. Gladly at UVM as a sophmore.

As far as mountains go, you can't go wrong. So many choices within an hour an a half.
-Stowe is a gaper trap but their jumps are the best out of any. Their woods are on par with every other mountain minus Jay.
-Jay is the true skiers mountain, same with MRG but I haven't been yet.
-The Bush is the best for lapping park with good flow and lack of crowds. So glad I got A Bush pass over a Stowe pass this year.
-Killington is a bit farther but such a dope mountain.
-Bolton is a fun little mountain, def. gets more hate than deserved.

I can't believe there are only a few committed so far, UVM as a safety? LOLwut.

it was my safety too. but in the end in came down to whether i wanted to go to UVM for free cause my pops works there, or go out to Montana state and spend my moneyz. I chose the moneyz for after college.

Jea UVM is the sickest. You may not have the mountains of out west, but if you want to ski as much as possible with the largestest selection of mountains with the largestestest amount of awesomeness possible, UVM is top notch.
