Using epoxy with gopro mount

searchbar'd and couldnt find the answer. with the gopro adhesive helmet mount when using epoxy with it do you put the epoxy onto the adhesive foam or strip the foam and put epoxy right on the mount.

I don't know the answer but I'm just curious why your using the epoxy? The 3M mounts have industrial strength adhesive and have always worked for me.

Use a nice 2 part epoxy. Mix it properly. Put a ridiculous amount around the base after you put some on the base. Get that shit held in place till it dries. That thing will survive a swan dive off a 3 million food cliff

I used just the adhesive on my helmet the first day and it fell off after I ate it off a cliff. Use epoxy or superglue.

ive heard many stories from here and my friends of the mount falling of when they fall off cliffs and just dont want to risk losing it in powder.

my friend has done it, he just put it on the foam, and its stuck on there good.

Def don't want that to happen. If your happy with your placement of it on, epoxy the shit out of it. If you get a real good 3 part epoxy that shit will def come off. You might have to chisel it off your helmet if you want to remove it but itll be solid

i took the foam off. make sure let it set for a while and its not out in the cold until its really dry or else it will falll off
