where did you get you skis mounted?
On most skis, in most conditions, centermount is not ideal. Think of it this way, in general the closer to center you got the less stable the ski will be (with respect to ski shape of course). Mogul skiers and tree skiers often are biased closer to the center. Gate racers and big mountain skiers move the binding as far as -7 from center no problem. Park skiers tend to go for centermount to maximize rotational balance and switch landings. However, between you and me, the best balance between carving and agility is usually between -2 and -3.5, but again that is just my feeling.
