Protest artists

For my IB art class I ahve to do a protest piece based on various artists, are there any good ones that are kinda out there that I wouldn't know about, don't say banksy we both know he's bullshit now

Banksy does make some pretty sick art though. I know a lot of people are calling him a sell out though because of the documentary, and I've even heard people try to say that Banksy and the director of the movie are one in the same.

Anyways, check out Shepard Fairey

I'm not saying anything bad about his art, I like it a pretty good amount, but banksy just isn't what he used to be and thanks I definitely will

Picasso? His most famous painting (guernica) was based around the brutality of the civil war in Spain and he kept it in France until the war was over as a sort of boycott. If you want to use an element from it it would probably be his use of gray and black and how he makes living things look inorganic. Hope that helps
