A not so shitty edit

Please critique this rough draft!

This is an edit I made for my club at school, and I think it's a big step up from my last one. Looking to learn even more so tips on color correction, shots, music, etc.....anything that helps me learn. I know some of the follow shots are shaky, the lighting on the intro encourages a grainy product, and there are exposure shifts on the computer shot I didn't really figure out how to conquer.

Enjoy, yes I have been a fan of Chiddy Bang for a few years and am now whoring them out to my edits :)

some of the slow mo wasnt necessary. but good inrto really enjoyed that.

the only thing about the shots right after the intro is that there weren't any tricks, just straight airs, sliding rails straight.

But the editing was good, and by the end i loved the feeling of the video.

good song choice too.

oh and i thought the shot with the camera in between the 2 bars was suuuper sick haha.

but yea evening out would make the edit a little smoother imo

Yeah, I agree the opening riding seemed a little slow. However by the end of the edit, I was loving it. That hand-drag off the knuckle was soooo sick.

It looks good, but If you want your editing to get better, try to color grade your shots. It's easy and looks really nice.

I did color grade, but I had trouble with some of them that came out of the camera super yellowish. It was hard to make them look real without making the shot too blue. I'll work on that some more too.
