Good Weather/conditions: I'm skiing pow. In the trees, in the backcountry, anywhere I can get the stuff, natural features and smearing turns are way more fun than anything in the park, IMHO.
Bad weather/conditions: If I was forced to choose between the two or die, jumps. Rails are fun, don't get me wrong, but it gets really tiring destroying skis.
Ummm you are part of a small minority....or it is just you by your lonesome....sad.
The question remains: what has powder done to make you hate it so? Did you have a bad experience with tip dive? Did you get burried neck deep for hours? Find forgiveness in your heart and turn towards the powder and embrace it lovingly like a lost brother, you will be rewarded...
Eeeehhhh... I haven't really had the chance to hit very many jumps other than the tiny 40 footers at my mountain... so at the home hill, rails. Or all-mountain in general.
i do like the natural jumps in the trees and off the trail cuz you never know what to expect.
