A couple of weeks ago, I was skiing at Timberline when I lost my season pass. I keep it on a lanyard and had made sure that I had my pass with me and on the lanyard on the way up to the mountain. I took one warm up run and skied down to the lift only to fine that my lanyard, in the time between when I got out of my car and when I got to the lift, had bent somehow and my pass had fallen off. I went to the lodge and bought a new lanyard and a replacement pass for 25$.
This weekend though, I had my second lanyard break mysteriously. I had showed my pass to the lifty on the way up for my last run. I skied a mellow run back to the lodge, then got in my car to go home. At no point had I fallen or slid or anything. In spite of that, when I got home and took off the lanyard I discovered that it was bent and the pass was gone again.
THE SHORT VERSION:
I had two lanyards break without me falling two weekends in a row and lost two season passes.
I need a new place to put my pass. Any suggestions?
