Poles: Cut 'em or no?

My suggestion would be to go to your local shop and look out back or in their dumpster. I know my local shop has a whole slew of poles that they toss because of no basket, no matching pole, a little beat up. ext..

Ive been rocking a pair of volkl poles I found in a barn in vermont. i cut em down from nipple high (yeah they were gaper poles) to about waist. then through some bike grips on em. now they are the dopest poles ever. if you dont get two matching poles, go get some sweet spray paint and paint them.

IMO no one should spend the 70$ or so on poles which you know you will bend/break in a few ski days. spend 5$ on poles and 3$ on paint. 8 dollar sick poles.

i guess by that last post my thought would be price, grips, color.

Fkuck that I get some from the lost and found, cut them to my personal preference and give them a sick paint job. Less money and always looks sick :)

Go to a garage sale or you basement and find a pair and cut them down to how you want them and put golf grips on them.
