Hey guys, I'm 5'0 and 100 pounds, and skis 80% park 20% other stuff, and was wondering what you guys think the the biggest size ski I could ski, and also some recommendations. I was looking at reno jibs 156, k2 revivals 159, k2 domains 159, and also some other options. Next year I will be skiing probably 90-95% park, and I want something I can butter. +K for good answers
Yeah I had 159 PEs back in the day when i was 5' so a 161 would definitely be fine and 5 cm is not that much. But also depends on what kinda ski you're getting, if you're getting a rockered ski you should definitely go with a 165ish length.
I want a rocked ski, and was thinking about 163 twenty twelves. I want something I can butter but also want to be able to control it. I'm a little hesitant on getting a ski over 161, i'm afraid it will be too big and wont be able to control it. :/ what size do you think a 163 2012 would ski like?
2012's are gonna ski a lot shorter. They have 55 cm of rocker in both tip in tail meaning that on a truly flat surface only 53 cm of the ski would be touching the ground. Obviously, it does not ski like a ski that's 55 mm long, however, it does ski shorter than a true 163 cm ski and I think you could easily control it at your height.
]if u want a really buttery ski i would go for the k2 revivals or the domains. it all comes down to ur opinion and money. but stick in the 150-163 range
