title pretty much explains it all. im new to photography and was kinda taken aback when i saw how different a photo i recently took looked when i pulled it up on chrome as compared to my normal browser safari. i don't really know much about photoshop yet as im new, just wondering if theres any sort of way i should be saving a file to be displayed on the net so its uniform throughout browsers. currently im saving them at 8bits/channel as a jpeg because i'm not really familiar with any other type of photo file besides the jpeg format. link is a side by side comparison of the two:
